Overview
Flowyric (the "Service") is a free web service operated by 플로위릭, a registered sole proprietor in the Republic of Korea. Its basic features for making, viewing, and sharing bouquets are available without sign-up or login, and you do not need to provide a name, contact details, or account information to use them.
The Service does not currently offer actual flower-shop orders or reservations. You may enter personal information yourself in free-text fields such as a gift-card message or journal note, so the sections below explain where each kind of information is stored and who can see it.
This policy explains the information the Service processes and why. Send inquiries and deletion requests to info@flowyric.com. The operator of 플로위릭 reviews them directly and aims to send an initial reply within one week of receipt.
Information collected automatically
For service operations, security monitoring, incident response, and abuse prevention, the server keeps access logs. These logs include the connecting IP address, browser information, request method, requested address and query, response status and size, referring page address, request time, and processing time.
The Service is delivered through Cloudflare's CDN. In the course of routing traffic, Cloudflare processes connection information such as IP addresses, to which Cloudflare's privacy policy applies.
Information stored in your browser
The Service stores your language and region settings, the bouquet composition you were working on, unlocked flower-encyclopedia entries, and your gallery of completed bouquets in the browser's localStorage, and stores the finished-image cache in IndexedDB. Gallery entries include the flower composition and wrapping paper at completion, the beautiful message, flower meaning, any gift-card message you wrote, language, and theme.
If you use the journal, the date you want to remember, who the flowers are for, your own note, and that entry's bouquet composition, beautiful message, gift-card message, and bouquet image are stored in IndexedDB on your device. You can delete journal entries one by one and export or import a backup file. An exported file is saved or sent to a location you choose and is not uploaded to the Service's server.
The Service does not automatically synchronize this device storage with the server, and names and notes entered in the journal are not sent to the server or AI. Flower compositions and card contents may separately be sent to the server or AI while you select flowers, complete a bouquet, or share it, as described under "AI generation and data transfer" and "Shared cards" below.
You can delete information stored on the device at any time using your browser's site-data controls.
AI generation and data transfer
When you press Finish or request the message again, a request may be sent through the Service's server to the Google Gemini API. What is sent depends on the type of request. Requests for a beautiful message and bouquet notes contain a prompt built from flower names, quantities, flower meanings, the selected theme, and the language in which the text should be written. A finished-image request contains only a prompt built from flower kinds, quantities, and wrapping paper.
If a finished image for the same composition is already stored, the Service displays that image instead of generating a new one. To check for one, flower kinds, quantities, and wrapping-paper information may be sent to the Service server while you select flowers or open a shared card, but this check alone does not make an AI-generation request. The Service also sends no request to Gemini when the AI feature is off or its daily usage limit has been reached.
A gift-card message you write yourself and anything entered in the journal are not sent to AI. The requests contain no information intended to identify you. Google's API terms and data-processing policies apply to subsequent processing.
Storage of generated images
If an external storage connection is configured, generated finished images may be stored in the operator's Google Drive storage under a composition key so that the same composition does not have to be generated again. The composition key is built from flower kinds, quantities, and wrapping paper, without user-identification information.
Shared cards
When you create a gift-card link, the card contents (flower composition and wrapping paper, beautiful message, flower meaning, any message you wrote, language, and theme) are stored on the server, and anyone who knows the link can view the card. If the contents cannot be stored on the server, they are included in the link address. We recommend not putting personal information in the message.
To manage storage space, once the number of cards stored on the server exceeds 5,000, the oldest cards are deleted automatically. However, content may remain in a browser cache where the card was previously opened, or in copies saved or forwarded by a user, even after deletion from the server.
The Service has no on-screen feature for deleting a shared card directly. For inquiries about a stored card, send its link along with your message to info@flowyric.com.
Anonymous usage statistics
The Service compiles anonymous visit statistics using Umami, a self-hosted open-source tool. This includes pages viewed, how a visitor arrived (search, direct visit, or a link), device type, country-level location, and usage events such as completing or sharing a bouquet.
We distinguish starting a bouquet, card readiness, link copying, image sharing, downloads, cancellations, and card views. A temporary identifier links actions on the same page, and a hash distinguishes cards; usage events do not contain your message text. Gallery records on the same device help distinguish creator views, but cannot prove someone is a recipient. We do not store a new persistent user identifier.
These statistics are stored only on the operator's own server and are not shared with third-party advertising or analytics providers. The analytics tool uses no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser. Instead, it uses the connecting IP address and browser information to create a session identifier that distinguishes visits, and the analytics record has no field that stores the IP address as received. Separately, the server access logs retain the IP address as described under "Information collected automatically" above.
Flower shop orders
The Service does not currently accept actual flower-shop orders or reservations. If existing order or test records are stored, they may contain the recipient's name, phone number, preferred pickup time, note, flower composition and price, selected theme and language, and any beautiful message created with them. Information handling and order terms will be announced separately before an actual order service begins.
Existing order or test records, including cancelled records, may remain on the server as part of order history and sales summaries, and the Service has no on-screen feature for deleting an order record directly.
The Service regularly makes backup copies of the database containing order information. If an external storage connection is configured, it is also set up to upload these copies to the operator's Google Drive storage.
Order information is not provided to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Cookies and advertising
The Service itself uses no cookies for ordinary use such as making and sharing bouquets. When a flower shop owner signs in to the owner page, the Service uses one session cookie to maintain that sign-in state, and uses it only to verify the sign-in.
If Google AdSense advertising is introduced in the future, Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and we will update this policy to give notice when advertising is introduced.
Processing abroad
Some information may be processed abroad through the global infrastructure of Google and Cloudflare described above.
Your rights
You can delete information stored in your browser and on your device (settings, gallery, flower encyclopedia, image cache, and journal), and can also delete individual journal entries. Send requests to access or delete information stored on the server, such as shared cards and existing order or test records, to info@flowyric.com. The operator of 플로위릭 reviews them directly and aims to send an initial reply within one week of receipt. This is not a deadline for completing deletion.
Changes to this policy, and the authoritative text
When this policy changes, we will post the update on this page and revise the effective date shown at the top.
